| Description: |
This also applies to version 8.4.6 (windows version)
When a postscript file is generated using embedded
canvas windows, any embedded window having an offset
scrollrange (e.g. {-100, -100, 100 100} will be
represented correctly in the vertical direction, but the
horizontal direction is still displayed from the absolute
zero point.
An example:
pack [canvas .c]
.c create rectangle 1 1 300 300 -fill wheat
canvas .c1 -width 201 -height 201 -bg white \
-highlightthickness 0
.c create window 20 20 -anchor nw -window .c1
.c1 config -scrollregion {-100 -100 100 100}
#axis system
.c1 create line -100 0 100 0
.c1 create line 0 -100 0 100
update
.c postscript -file test.ps

Still present in 8.6 and 9.1. The translate for the -x coordinate of the printed area is output only together with the prolog, while the y coordinate is applied to every item; an embedded canvas is printed with -prolog 0, so its horizontal scroll offset was lost. Fixed on branch canvas-ps-noprolog-xoffset in [7367fb6ae6]. | |||
