| Description: |
I compiled the Wish Shell app following the instructions in https://core.tcl-lang.org/tk/file?name=macosx/README&ci=tip, using I then ran This provided me with 3 possible completions (as expected), Expected behavior: I should be able to keep typing. Actual behavior: At this point, the window seemed to lose keyboard focus. I couldn't type anything more into the window without first clicking it with the mouse. The problem seems to only occur for some forms of completion. For example, filename completion seemed to work fine. I'm using macOS Sonoma 14.7.6 on ARM. I compiled Tk checkout e82ce250368d0c6df08d8141f9c6f174c3209a46 (from 2 days ago?) with Tcl checkout fa3d2b602fac864aa1783f6e2c861ef320e6936b (from today), assuming I interpreted fossil's output correctly.

Fixed in [554db8de87a77247|trunk] and core-9-0-branch Many thanks! Closing serhiy.storchaka added on 2026-09-19 11:02:02: <Tab> is also <<NextWindow>> for the all tag, so after the expansion the focus was moved to the next focusable widget: on aqua the console scrollbar, which has key bindings. Fixed in [bcea1c19e4] (branch console-tab-focus).
