The hook man page renders incorrecty in the REFERENCE section. There is a staircase effect which sends output to the right. Attached is the result of "man n hook > hook.txt" Error messages on stderr are: $ man n hook > hook.txt <standard input>:385: warning: macro `CE:' not defined (probably missing space after `CE') <standard input>:424: warning: macro `CE,' not defined (probably missing space after `CE') <standard input>:437: warning: macro `CE,' not defined (probably missing space after `CE') <standard input>:449: warning: macro `CE.' not defined (probably missing space after `CE') <standard input>:543: warning: macro `CE,' not defined (probably missing space after `CE') | |||

allow_comments - 1 andreas_kupries added on 2011-02-24 01:14:27: hook: Moved the examples in the hook page to separate lines to avoid the issue. doctools: Forced a \n after each .CE to avoid this in future manpages even if they use examples on the same line as text. Note: There is a long-standing indentation bug which is also triggered here, even after fixes, where parts of a nested list are out-dented.
