The bars in a barchart may be drawn outside the area designated for the plot, if the axis does not start at zero. The attached program illustrates this effect (as well as an issue with the margins). Note that the problem is a trifle subtle: if the axis contains the origin, then the bars should be drawn from the origin. | |||
