I changed a few coding nits in the ftp/example/hpupdate.tcl file hoping against hope to fix at least one of the problems I have with it - the program tries to show me the difference, but what it shows doesn't reflect the real difference. The original author is no longer supporting the program; he has written a significantly better app that replaces hpupdate, but it is all in german and my german is too rust. Anyways, I'm attaching my patches. Mainly i added -- to the switches ; which has the potential of making them safer if the variables happen to contain a - in their data, added some explicit return codes, etc. | |||
