I wanted a ComboBox that would automatically post as soon as the user started typing, and would scroll to the value that is most similar to the entry's input. The following patch adds an "-autopost" boolean configuration option that performs this behavior. Furthermore it handles up and down arrow key events to let the user instead select an item from the listbox. Pressing the escape key while the entry has focus causes the listbox to unpost. This patch is against BWidget 1.7. | |||
