Abstract

This TIP proposes to export the current win32-specific functions TclWinConvertError() and TclWinConvertWSAError() under the new name Tcl_WinConvertError().

Specification

Introduce a new win32-specific API:

• void Tcl_WinConvertError(unsigned errCode)

This function can handle both normal win32 errors and WSA errors, so it's a full replacement for both TclWinConvertError() and TclWinConvertWSAError()
