      After the planned release of Tcl/Tk 8.6.16 and 9.0.1 somewhere around midth of December, I want to update my BAWT distribution.
      
      Are there plans to release a new Tcl9-ready tcltls version in 2024?

      I can confirm that the latest checked in code compiles on Debian Linux with tcl 9.0.0. The previous release tag (1.7.22) does not compile using the 9.0 release.
