are used to ensure the integrity of data. The hash function can be any
supported OpenSSL algorithm such as <b>md4</b>, <b>md5</b>, <b>sha1</b>,
<b>sha256</b>, <b>sha512</b>, <b>sha3-256</b>, etc. See
<b>tls::digests</b> command for a full list. In OpenSSL 3.0+, older
algorithms may reside in the legacy provider.
