ReproducibleScript:
N/A

ObservedBehavior:
Don't know whether this is a bug or not. I'll put it in the form of a
    question

Why is the tclIndex file in tcl8.0.5/library not the same as
one that one generates with this version of tcl after
    building it?
    I.e.
    tclsh8.0
    auto_mkindex /usr/local/lib/tcl8.0 *.tcl

produces an index file which is different from the
    pre-existing file that shipped.

DesiredBehavior:
Presumably the file that one can generate
should be the same as that shipped.

Is the file that ships wrong? Does this lead to buggy behavior?

The one that is installed is just a 'sanitized' version, but
it doesn't matter if you reindex and include all the procs there.
