unix/installManPage replaces :: in the names of the installed manual pages with _, so man oo::class does not find the page (it is installed as oo_class.n), although apropos lists oo::class (n). This affects 14 pages: oo::*, tcl::prefix, platform::shell, etc. The same issue in Tk is Tk ticket 3604346fff. Proposed fix in branch man-colon-names ([3afe85f6ef]): keep : in the names, and install the pages under the old names with _ too, so man oo_class still works. Tested with man-db on Linux and under MSYS2 on Windows, where : in file names is mapped to a private-use character. | ||||
