TIP 352 (b) in lang/de.rc, remove two newlines - the symbol and value must appear on the same line, at least on Unix systems. The UTF-8 is fine (tested on X11 and Mac). I believe the branch is ready to be merged back into the "bwidget" branch. Keith. P.S. I also looked at some of the other localization files on X11 and Aqua, and discovered a separate bug. Unfortunately, some of these files (e.g. lang/no.rc) use Latin-1, not UTF-8, and this does not work correctly on X11 and Aqua. If you examine the files in a hex editor, you can see that some have single- byte characters above the ASCII range. These need to be converted to UTF-8. |
