This document accompanies giot 1.1p1, as
distributed at January 15, 2000
giot is an extension library to the script language tcl, as
created by John Ousterhout. It contains the generic transformation from Trf,
but made independent of the infrastructure of that extension.
This was done to
- provide a means for testing current and future
implementations of stacked channels and to
- provide a code example of a transformation channel. To
facilitate the understanding of transformations further I
wrote a HOWTO document describing the internals of
a transformation in detail. Plain text and XML sources
are available too.
